Michael Nicholson

Michael Nicholson qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1966, working initially as a financial director before setting up on his own. He served on the house committees and also as chairman of two Sue Ryder homes before becoming a trustee of Sue Ryder Care. He spent 23 years as a magistrate in Norfolk and 11 years as a school governor.

Michael first went to Romania in 1992 and has returned every year since then. Becoming a trustee of FARA in 2001, he was closely involved with the purchase, and subsequently the running, of OAT farm. He also serves as a director of FARA Enterprises.
