About FARA Charity

Mission...

In Romanian FARA means “without” and the charity is dedicated to transforming the lives of some of the poorest and most marginalized children in Eastern Europe. FARA provides care and education to emotionally deprived children and young adults, whilst giving Christian values and hope for the future.

The objectives of our programmes are -

  • To care for abandoned children in foster care and family style homes
  • To provide education for children with special needs
  • To assist families in extreme poverty and marginalized Roma children
  • To offer training and social integration/rehabilitation to young adults and to those with learning disabilities

FARA’s mission is to provide and develop services offering vulnerable children and young adults an environment in which they can be nurtured and healed to enable them to grow up with hope for the future.
