Seed drill reaches destination

FARA's Walsingham office was delighted when Donald Morton, one of its trustees, located a second-hand but fully functioning specialist seed drill for use in OAT Farm's polytunnels. Farm Manager Sebastian Vlaicu agreed it would be an ideal addition to his farm equipment and enable him to increase capacity just as demand for the farm's organic produce is rocketing.
The initial enthusiasm of staff suffered a setback when it was realised how much the drill would cost to despatch from the Worcestershire-based supplier all the way to northeast Romania. However, long-term FARA supporters Kimbolton Castle Rotary Club came to their rescue by paying for the cost of transport via haulage firm GOfers Logistics.

A huge 'thank you' from all at FARA to everyone who assisted with this purchase and its long journey across Europe.
