Samuel children dance the day away

Children at the Samuel Centre recently took part in worldwide celebrations for the International Day of Dance – speaking its universal language through music and movement.

FARA’s staff at the Samuel Centre try to make dancing a part of every child’s experience, but this day was a little different. The children were taught some traditional dances and given pictures to colour in on the theme of dance.

Then they took part in a ‘music and dance’ role playing game. And – the high point on the day – they were provided with musical instruments to play.

From the pictures we’ve received it looks as if the centre’s staff greatly enjoyed themselves as well.
