Angel flies high for FARA

In March 2015 the FARA shop in Islington, N1 was transformed into a new retail concept and since that date FARA Angel - as it’s now known - has been flying high. Situated just around the corner from Angel tube station, this charity shop sells a jumble of retro, damaged designer and ‘pile it high, sell it cheap’ donated clothing.

A continuous flock of people stream in daily to rummage through the rails or to take advantage of the ‘give and take’ book selection. It’s all about thrifty shifting and that is certainly what this shop is doing; not only extending the life cycle of generously donated goods but in the process raising much needed funds which go towards helping the charity sustain its programmes in Romania.
