New FARA house opens its doors

After months of planning, FARA's new community home, Casa Elizabeta (Elizabeth House) has just opened its doors to residents. Situated in Cacica, a beautiful village on the edge of the Carpathian mountains, the house provides accommodation for eight young adults – and six (including those pictured below) have already moved in.

At a service held to mark the opening the parish priest offered a warm welcome to ‘the new family we have here in Cacica’. In fact, there will be plenty of future opportunities for residents to help out in the local church and community, especially since the village is also a popular tourist and pilgrimage centre.

As always at a FARA event, the celebration ended with a small feast!
