Royal Patron visits FARA projects

As part of his first official state visit to Romania HRH The Prince of Wales, FARA's Royal Patron, visited FARA staff and residents in Bucharest on Thursday 30 March. His Royal Highness met residents and staff from our family homes, therapy centres and 'Foyer' residential training projects.

Bikes bring joy at St Nicholas

The children of St. Nicholas Family Home in Suceava saw a dream come true last weekend. Each received the gift of a bicycle from JCI Suceava (part of the international Junior Chamber movement) at their annual ‘Bizz Bike - Business Bicycle’ event.

An emotional reunion for Sorina

Homeless at the age of five, Sorina entered St Gabriel’s family home in 2010. And for more than five years she had no news of her mother or her siblings. Then, one day just after Christmas she was invited to dinner with her family.
