Budding fashion designer

Andrei is encouraged to reach for his dreams

Andrei is a resident of our St. Michaels hostel, he is in his last year at school and has already discovered his love for designing and making clothes – setting his sights on a career in fashion in the future. The staff at the hostel soon recognised his interest and were keen to encourage him, boosting his confidence and giving him direction in fulfilling his dreams. Andrei’s room is now a hubbub of activity, with his sewing machine on the go and inspirational designs tacked to the walls.

FARA Hostels offer life skills mentoring and accommodation to young people from institutions and broken homes, providing support towards independent living and aiming to prevent homelessness. A new hostel was opened in Suceava in the spring of 2017, providing accommodation for up to 18 people.
