Charity climb
Edward Dijmarescu tells us what drives him and why he chose to climb Mount Elbrus for FARA
A mighty way to fundraise!
Edward Dijmarescu is Romanian and lives and works in London. Having previously summited Kilimanjaro and Everest Base Camp, in 2019 he wanted to test himself again. This time Edward chose Mount Elbrus, the highest peak in Europe, and he chose FARA.
“I feel we all have a social responsibility to help others less fortunate than us and give something back. The climb went well, the high altitude meant there were new stresses and challenges, but my training paid off. I am proud to say I managed to raise £2,285.44 for FARA and their amazing cause. It’s a great feeling to know my efforts will help the children in need”.

Edward Dijmarescu challenged himself to climb Mount Elbrus to raise money for FARA Charity, such a kind gesture and one we are very grateful for. Read Edward's summit day journal - its pretty inspiring.
